Designer Nicole Miller is usually known for her bold designs and outrageous graphic prints along with her experimental designs and use of unusual fabrics, however, when she exhibited her new bridal collection at a recent event, her designs were more toned down and classical.

Nicole showed her bridal range at a New York show on April 6th this year. Guests at the shows were wowed with the beautiful gowns she had on offer. The designs featured heavily ruffled and pleated designs along with fabulous origami style pleats and tucks. Keeping with tradition, white was a prominent colour. Some of her designs featured trendy intricate beading reminiscent of 1930s Hollywood and old school glamour.

True to form Nicole Miller couldn’t see a show go by without some more wacky pieces and she had several piece on show made from crazy metal fabrics and a rippled tidal pleat outfit which resembled a huge tidal wave. She also drew some inspiration from the 1950s with cute retro halters and stunningly romantic silk dresses, as well as, A-line skirts and flamenco style trumpet dresses.
