Oscar winning actress Kate Winslet is one of the most down to earth actresses to come out of Hollywood in recent years. She is known for trying to play up her working class roots almost as much as she is known for her on screen performances. Her latest photo shoot saw her take to a rooftop construction, which despite its location, was anything but working class. She looked more like a society girl from the 1930s than a construction worker.

Kate donned a slinky little black number and sexy black high heels for the sizzling photo shoot. She posed for several shots which are destined to appear in popular fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar. The photo shoot clearly gave a nod to the famous ‘lunchtime atop a skyscraper’ photo which showed dirty construction workers in the thirties eating lunch at the top of a huge skyscraper. Evidently this shoot was much more sexy and seductive. Kate seemed to enjoy the shoot and in an interview she even complained that people saw her as middle class because of her accent. She had a lot of fun shooting the pictures in New York where she now lives with her director husband Sam Mendes.
